My name is Izabela and I am a yoga teacher to support you on the path to self discovery.

The beauty of yoga lies in its availability to everyone. There is tremendous opportunity to challenge yourself. However, you don’t have to imagine yourself in the advanced asanas. In the majority of cases, the most basic poses are the most beneficial to achieve – focusing on relief, strengthening or simply letting go. I believe being yourself and having fun on the mat is of vital importance.

Curiosity and health were the two main reasons behind my first step on the yoga mat 16 years ago. 

My curved spine screamed for help, after being tortured for many hours in a poorly seated position. Stress at work added an extra load on top of it. Being diagnosed with scoliosis I had given up hope.

The red light at the intersection stopped me. While being stuck in traffic I spotted a poster for a yoga school at the side of the road. I had to stop and realise that this was an invitation to what became a beautiful journey. 

 

 Yoga brought an unexpected shift in many aspects of my life. However the most perceptible gain was comfort and a pain-free spine. 

What was born on the physical level radiated to other, less tangible areas. I love to share this incredible way of life with my students.

Yoga is a constant enquiry. You never stop learning.

My journey began at the Iyengar Yoga Academy and was greatly influenced by Vinyasa Flow. I received my 500 H certification from the Escuela International de Yoga in Madrid (RYS 500H by Yoga Alliance and FEDEFY - Federación Española de Entidades Formadoras de Yoga). I’m very grateful for all the teachers, but especially to Mayte Criado for teaching me to believe the impossible is possible. In between the stages of training, I taught in Escuela Andaluza de Yoga in San Pedro, Spain.

At the moment I focus on one-on-one classes. My main objective is always the well-being of each of my students. Therefore a private class provides the best opportunity to concentrate on the unique requirements of each individual. Together we can explore what works best.
